Places To Move If Trump Becomes President

3/18/2016

Comments

When Trump first announced he was running for president, I laughed. I think it is fair to say that most of America laughed. We heard his absurd beliefs, the racist and fascist things he wanted to do with our country, and we thought that there was no way that any sane American would vote for a man like him. Well, America, I think it is time to realize that we live in a country filled with people that may just be that dumb.

So, in case the nightmare becomes a reality, here are a few lovely places you can move to.

1. Vancouver, B.C. Canada

Picture
Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. Look at that picture above!! It is an incredible combination of big city and nature (Stanley Park is one of the largest city parks in the world!) My favorite attraction in Vancouver is the suspension bridge. This amazing bridge is 460 feet in the air, above trees and a river that flows below. The day I went there it was pouring down rain. It was honestly one of the most magical days of my life. You know what, I'm actually not going to finish this blog post. Screw it. I'M MOVING TO VANCOUVER!!! So long America!!

2. Galway, Ireland

Picture
Galway was by far my favorite thing in Ireland, and the rest of Ireland was incredible! It is a small, cozy town. It is so authentic and everything you could ever want from Ireland. The people there are so sweet, if you can understand them through their thick Irish accents. Their Guinness beef stew is to die for. Their Irish coffee(or just coffee to the locals) will warm your soul. It is only a couple hours away from Dublin, only a couple hours away from the Cliffs of Moher, only a short drive from endless castles! Not to mention, they drive on the opposite side of the road, which, the car I drove also being a stick shift, was the coolest driving experience of my life. You know what, I'm actually not going to finish this blog post. Screw it. I'M MOVING TO GALWAY!!! So long America!!

3. Firenze, Italy

Picture
Idiot Americans refer to Firenze as Florence, but the lovely folks of Italy call this heavenly place Firenze. Firenze is a city filled with art, culture, and AMAZING BRIDGES!! Just look at it! Look at it! And oh my god, how have I not mentioned the food yet? The carbonara there is to freaking die for. The pizza stacked on top of pizza stacked on top of pizza stacked on top of pasta stacked on top of- you know what, I'm actually not going to finish this blog post. Screw it. I'M MOVING TO FIRENZE!!! So long America!!

4. Budapest, Hungary

Picture
Going into Budapest I didn't really expect much, but oh wow did they blow me away! Budapest was one of the most unique cities that we traveled to in Europe. I'm not even really sure how to explain it properly, ("But uh, aren't you supposed to be a writer? Isn't explaining a cities essence properly technically your job?" Shut up, mom.) Budapest is a city filled with bath houses, pubs inside of old ruins, incredibly nice people. It is a city filled with so much- you know what, I'm actually not going to finish this blog post. Screw it. I'M MOVING TO BUDAPEST!!! So long America!!

5. Tokyo, Japan

Picture
I have never actually been to Tokyo, but after watching season 5 of Girls I am absolutely sold! I mean, look at those apartments! You could live in one of those! That is the dream! That is the American dream taking place in Toyko- you know what, I'm actually not going to finish this blog post. Screw it. I'M MOVING TO TOKYO!!! So long America!!

6. Literally anywhere in Australia

Picture
Every girl I have ever fallen in love with on first glance has been Australian. I have never been to Australia, but I know for a fact that they have the most beautiful humans of all time. I have yet to meet an Australian that didn't look like a real life model pulled out of a magazine and released out into the wild. Just look at Margot Robbie, look at her, every single Australian is that beautiful. That's not a stereotype, it is a scientific fact. JUST LOOK AT HER!! You know what, I'm actually not going to finish this blog post. Screw it. I'M MOVING TO AUSTRALIA!!! So long America!!

7. Zurich, Switzerland

Picture
I have never actually been to Switzerland, but I have seen the Alps sooooo I'm basically an expert. Also, I think it would a sin to not mention Switzerland while writing a blog post about beautiful places to move to- honestly, I'm not even really focused on what I'm writing at this point because all I can think about it is HOW BEAUTIFUL MARGOT ROBBIE IS!!!! You know what, I'm actually not going to finish this blog post. Screw it. I'M MOVING TO WHEREVER MARGOT ROBBIE IS !!! So long Ameri- wait, what's that? She lives in America now? Oh...... Well.... Looks like I'm staying here.
