Can We Stop Playing Games?

Why, lord, why?? Why do we feel this urge, this desire, this necessity to play games when pursuing someone we are interesting in?? I am so sick of it! There are so many rules that we must follow. We have to play hard to get, we have to wait 3 days before calling a girl that we like, and whatever we do we must not come off as needy. Well guess what? I need you in my damn life! So if that makes me needy, then I am one needy MUTHA FUCKKKAAA!

Everybody has heard that classic advice: If you like them, you need to make it seem like you don't like them. Because if they know that you like them, then they won't like you back. But if they think that you don't like them, then they will like you. WHAT THE MUTHA EFF??? Can someone please explain where the logic is in that. Oh, you can't? That's because there is no logic!

When a guy gets a girls number, or a girl gets a guys number, or a girl gets a girls number, or a guy gets a guys number, or a fish gets a fishes number, or a fucking walrus gets a sharks number, they are told they must wait at least 3 days before they call. They are told that if they call any earlier than that, then they will be seen as needy and pathetic. WHYYYYYYYYY LORD WHYYYY? If you are stoked about a girl and you get their number, you should not be forced to wait 3 days before calling them. Damn! If you want to call them you should call them that night. That's the point of getting the number in the first place, so that you can call them.

When we get a text from somebody that we like, we are told to wait a few minutes or hours to respond. If you respond too quickly, then you sound too eager. Well, MAYBE I AM eager! Maybe I really, really, really, really, really, really want to talk to you! Maybe I would rather respond as quickly as humanly possible so that we can fit as much conversation into our short lives as we possibly can. Ever think about it that way? WELL, DID YA???

Why do we have to make it such a long, dragged out process? It should be so simple! Boy likes girl, or girl likes boy, or girl likes...oh forget it. Let's just call them person A and person B. If person A likes person B, then person A should be allowed to just say to person B, "Hey, ummm...person B. I like....totally like you and stuff." And then person B would be like, "Umm, person A....I totally like you back." And it's that freaking simple!!

So for the love of love, can we just knock it off with these damn games? Thank you!
