Be a Black Sheep

According to some book called the dictionary, the definition of black sheep is "a member of a family or group who is regarded as a disgrace to them." According to Urban Dictionary (the real dictionary) the definition is, "a term used to describe someone who feels left out in a family. Basically, the outcast of the family because they choose to do other things than live up to their parents' standards."

So, basically, a black sheep is a person who is an outcast because they are different. They are the oddball in the family. They are the black sheep among a pack of white sheep. And, for some reason (racism), this is seen as a negative thing.

But why? Why does society say it is "a disgrace" to "choose to do other things" out of the norm??

In my humble (yet not humble at all, because I am the freaking best) opinion, we should all strive to be black sheep! Fuck the white sheep! They are so boring. All they do is sit there, being all white, and then get turned into cotton. Ew. I'd rather not.

The black sheep are the ones out there daring to be different, daring to challenge society, and daring to change the world. Why the hell should that ever be seen as a disgrace? Being normal, doing nothing out of the ordinary, following the steps of millions before you, THAT is disgraceful.

Don't be a white sheep....Hitler was a white sheep.

So, if people tell you you are a black sheep, you are weird, you are odd, you are different, tell them thanks and strut off into greatness like the black sheep you are.
