Out of all the Picasso's in the museum, it was Ana who shined brightest. When Ana interjects herself into a conversation between Darrell and a couple buddies, Darrell cannot help but to fall completely head over heels.

Much like the title insinuates, this story is about an asshole. He doesn't want to be an asshole, but he can't help it. It's like a disease, an impulse that he has no control over. In this short story, you get to walk in the shoes of an asshole.

Austin is quote, unquote popular. He is worshiped beyond belief. But only he knows who he is truly is. Deep down. Behind the facade. And he hates himself for it.

A tale about strangers finding each other, falling madly in love, exploring the depths of love, then breaking up. Becoming strangers, once more.

In this very short story, a new love is born. Matthew describes to us his first encounter with Tiffany and the feelings that are brewing inside of his soul.

The Outsider

​There is always that one kid at parties who seems to cling to the wall. They don't talk, they only linger. In this short story, we are able to crawl into the minds of an "outsider." 

Peter and Emily

Peter and Emily are high school best friends. They have just recently moved away to separate colleges, but can't stop thinking about one another. Both fear that making a move will ruin their friendship. Here is a two piece story showing both of their perspectives.

Pokémon Thief

When a young kid, our protagonist was caught stealing Pokémon cards from a local store. So Pokémon Thief became his nickname and reputation. After moving schools, our protagonist takes on a new persona.

Remember Us

My personal favorite. This story follows an unnamed protagonist as he looks back at a love story so beautiful and so tragic that it will be impossible to forget.

Running With Bulls

We all know the craziness and stupidity that is Running of the Bulls. Here is a story about a boy who travels to Pamplona to participate in the festival. When one bull gets loose, he is forced to fight for his life. Based loosely on my experience in Pamplona.
